PYONGYANG, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Sunday confirmed the attendance of the closing ceremony of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics this evening by a high level official.
"A high-level delegation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea headed by Kim Yong Chol, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, will visit South Korea to participate in the closing ceremony of the 23rd Winter Olympics," said the official Korean Central News Agency.
The report did not say whether Kim will meet with South Korean President Moon Jae-in or any other people during the visit.
The DPRK sent a high-level delegation to the opening ceremony of the games, including Kim Yo Jong, the sister of its top leader Kim Jong Un.
The delegation held talks with Moon on January 10 in Seoul and delivered a verbal invitation to him from Kim Jong Un to visit Pyongyang.
