CAAC makes verification takeoff in low-visibility at Beijing Airport

The flight SC9005 of the Shandong Airlines prepares to make a verification takeoff at Capital International Airport in Beijing, capital of China, Dec. 4, 2018. The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) on Tuesday made the first verification takeoff based on the Head Up Display (HUD) under Runway Visual Range (RVR) of 90-meter low visibility. The success of the takeoff symbolized that 80 percent of difficulties relating to the low-visibility takeoff will be solved, which can further guarantee the regularity of the flights.
