JAKARTA, July 24 (Xinhua) -- Participants of a media forum on the High Level China-ASEAN Conference on Media Cooperation, which was held here, pledge to use new media platforms to bring China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) relations to a higher-level.
Forum participants launched here on Wednesday the China-ASEAN Media Cooperation Projects, witnessed by senior officials of China, the ASEAN Secretariat and ASEAN state members.
Addressing the forum attended by Chinese and ASEAN experts, journalists, media practitioners and officials, Chinese Ambassador to ASEAN Huang Xilian said that the digital age sets an overall backdrop for new challenges in today’s life.
“We hope that media development and cooperation in the new era could contribute to a higher-level China-ASEAN relationship and a closer ASEAN-China community with a shared future,” said the ambassador.
